Buying from India: delivery abroad, with duties included
Most of the people who write to us from abroad ask the same thing before anything else: what will it cost by the time it reaches me? The honest answer is the price on the page plus one flat delivery charge, and nothing more at the door. Here is how that works, and what else to know when you buy from India.
In short
Yes, we deliver from our workshop in Surat to every country except Pakistan, including Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, the UAE and the EU. Delivery is a flat ₹7,500 per order, and customs duty and import taxes are included: you pay nothing when the parcel arrives. A piece takes about 15 days to make and 8–10 working days to reach you, insured and signed for.
What delivery costs
Delivery anywhere outside India is a flat ₹7,500 per order, about US$80, however many pieces are in it. Delivery within India is free. We deliver to every country except Pakistan.
The ₹7,500 covers the courier, insurance for the piece's full value, and the customs duty and import taxes of your country.
What "duties included" means
When jewellery crosses a border, the country it arrives in usually charges customs duty, sales tax or VAT, or both. Normally the courier pays these on arrival and collects them from you before handing the parcel over, which is how a piece that looked affordable online ends up costing a good deal more at the door.
We do it the other way round. The duty and import taxes are included in what you pay us, and we settle them before the parcel reaches you. Nothing further is payable when it arrives. Couriers call this "delivered duty paid". We declare every parcel at its true value.
How you pay
Prices on our website are in Indian rupees, the currency you are charged in. If you are browsing from outside India, each price also shows roughly what it comes to in your own currency, at that day's European Central Bank rate.
When you order, we confirm the amount in your own currency before you pay, and send a secure PayPal payment link. You pay in full when you order. We start making your piece once the payment is confirmed.
How long it takes
Every piece is made to order in our workshop in Surat, which takes about 15 days. When it is finished we photograph it and send you the picture before it ships. Delivery then takes 8–10 working days, with a tracking link by email as soon as it is on its way.

Sizes, wherever you are
Our rings are made in US size 6.5, which is the same size in Canada and the United States, and the prices shown are for that size. Any other size, including half sizes, is made on request and quoted separately. Sizes are numbered differently in the UK, Europe and Australia, so the safest thing is to measure in millimetres and send us the figure; we convert it and confirm it with you before anything is made.
Returns from abroad
You can return any piece within 7 days of delivery, unworn, with its tag still attached. Contact us first and we will tell you how to send it. You pay for the return shipping, and the parcel must be insured for the piece's full value. When it reaches us and passes inspection, we refund the price of the piece to your original payment method. International shipping charges aren't refunded.
If a piece arrives damaged or defective, isn't as described or agreed, or reaches you later than the date we gave you for reasons within our control, we take it back and refund you in full, including the return shipping. The full terms are in Shipping & Returns.
What comes with your piece
Every laboratory-grown diamond we set is E–F colour and VVS–VS clarity. A laboratory-grown main stone above 1 carat comes with an IGI report, which you can check yourself on igi.org. Gold in 9K, 14K and 18K is BIS hallmarked.
