Choosing your size
Resizing is free within one size, for as long as you own the piece, but a ring made to the right size from the start is a better ring: every resize is work on the metal. Rings are made in US 6.5, bracelets 6.5 inches long and necklaces 16 inches long; any other size is made on request and quoted separately. Tell us your size when you order, or message us on WhatsApp and we'll help you measure.
Resizing
- A ring is resized free for as long as you own it, up to one size larger or smaller than the size we made.
- Beyond one size, or where an earlier resize has already thinned the band, it's a paid alteration. We quote before any work starts.
- You pay the shipping to us and back.
- We confirm the new size and how long it will take before we start.
- Some rings can't be resized at all: eternity bands set with stones all the way round, and some closed or patterned designs. We tell you before you order if a design can't be altered later.
- Bangles and bracelets are made to a length, so what can be altered depends on the design — ask us before you order and we'll tell you.
- Earrings and pendants aren't made to a size, so there is nothing to resize. Free polishing, and re-plating, apply to them just the same.
Warranty
Every piece has a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects, from the date of delivery. If a defect appears, we'll repair or replace the piece free of charge and pay the shipping both ways.
The warranty doesn't cover normal wear, accidental damage, loss, or work done by anyone else. Whatever the warranty, a piece that's faulty or not as described is always covered by your legal rights. See Shipping & Returns.
Free servicing, for as long as you own the piece
We polish your piece free of charge for as long as you own it, whether it is silver or gold. You pay the shipping to us and back.
Re-plating is free on gold. On silver, where plating wears faster and needs doing more often, we charge the cost of the plating and tell you the price before we start.
Free servicing is for you, the original purchaser — please keep your order number. It doesn't transfer if the piece is sold or passed on.
Everyday care
- Put your jewellery on last, after perfume, lotion and hairspray.
- Take it off for swimming, sport, cleaning and gardening.
- Clean it gently with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, then dry it with a lint-free cloth.
- Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined box. Laboratory-grown diamonds are as hard as mined ones, so they can scratch other jewellery, and each other.
- Check the settings now and then. If a stone feels loose, stop wearing the piece and contact us.
Your IGI report
If your piece has a main stone above 1 carat, keep its IGI report somewhere safe. You can check the report number at any time at igi.org.
