These terms apply when you buy a piece from VIBHINI or commission one from us. Please read them before you order.

Who we are

Our laboratory-grown diamonds

Every stone on this website is a laboratory-grown diamond or a moissanite. A laboratory-grown diamond is grown in a laboratory rather than mined, with the same crystal structure as a mined diamond, and we always describe our stones as laboratory-grown. We never describe a moissanite as a diamond. Mined (natural) diamonds aren't sold from this website, but we can source one on enquiry: it will be described as a mined diamond and supplied with its own report.

A laboratory-grown main stone above 1 carat comes with an independent IGI report, and you can check its number at igi.org. Smaller stones, such as pavé, don't come with individual reports.

Gold

We make our jewellery in 9K, 10K, 14K and 18K gold. Our 9K, 14K and 18K gold jewellery is BIS hallmarked: look for the BIS mark, the purity and a six-digit HUID code, which you can check in the BIS CARE app. BIS doesn't hallmark 10K gold, so our 10K pieces don't carry a hallmark.

Prices and payment

• Prices include GST for delivery in India. Prices are shown in Indian rupees. For delivery outside India, we confirm the amount and currency you'll pay before you pay, when we send your payment link.
• Prices for delivery outside India include that country's customs duty and import taxes. There is nothing further to pay when the parcel arrives. See Shipping & Returns.
• Payments in India are handled securely by PayU, and payments from outside India by PayPal. Your card details go straight to PayU or PayPal; we never see or store them.
• If a price is shown wrongly by obvious mistake, we'll tell you before dispatch and you can cancel for a full refund.

Ready-to-ship orders

Your order is confirmed when your payment succeeds and we email you. Some pieces are one of a kind: if one sells before we confirm your order, we refund you in full.

Made-to-order pieces

• We agree the design, size, stones, price and making time with you in writing before anything is made.
• You pay in full when you order, through a secure payment link: PayU in India, PayPal from outside India. We start making your piece once the payment is confirmed.
• You can cancel within 12 hours of placing your order, for any reason, and we refund everything you paid with nothing deducted.
• After 12 hours your piece is on the bench and the order can't be cancelled.
• When it arrives you have 7 days to return it: see Shipping & Returns. None of this affects your rights if a piece is faulty or not as agreed.

Sizing and alterations

Please check your size before ordering. For as long as you own it we resize a ring free of charge, up to one size larger or smaller than the size we made it, on designs that can be resized. Beyond one size, or where an earlier resize has thinned the band, it's a paid alteration quoted before work begins. You pay the shipping both ways. Some designs — full eternity bands among them — can't be resized at all, and we say so before you order. Bangles and bracelets depend on the design; earrings and pendants aren't made to a size. Warranty and servicing

Every piece has a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects, then free polishing for as long as you own it, and free resizing within one size on rings that can be resized. Re-plating is free on gold and charged at cost on silver. These services are for the original purchaser and don't transfer with the piece. You pay the shipping for servicing; we pay it for a warranty repair. See Resizing & Care for the details.

Photographs and images

Product photographs show the pieces offered, but the colour and sparkle of stones can look different on different screens. Some campaign and lifestyle images on our site are illustrative and don't show a specific piece for sale.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, or under the consumer laws of your own country where they apply.

Complaints

Contact our grievance officer, whose details are on the Contact page. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours, give you a reference number to follow it, and resolve it within one month.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes fall under the courts of Surat, Gujarat. This doesn't affect your right to go to a consumer commission.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Your order is governed by the version on this page when you placed it.
